We're incredibly lucky to have two design gurus in one room to critique your magazine and online magazines and e-newsletters. Both Debbie Bates-Schrott and Jim Nissen focus in on elements that help sell your magazine. They understand limited budgets and will give practical helpful advice that makes a big difference. We'll be asking you to submit your samples in advance.

Now: Debbie has been involved in design strategy for over 16 years and has won over 60 awards for her design. As President of Bates Creative Group, Debbie is focused on the successful launch and redesign of magazines, strategic event marketing, and progressive web design. Clients include Marines Magazine, Sports Aviation, Journal of Commerce, Infonomics, and dozens more.
Past life: Debbie was managing partner and co-founder of Rabil & Bates Communication Design. Debbie has served on the Board of Directors for both the Florida Magazine Association and the International Association of Business Communicators.
